Real Estate Websites That Excel

real estate

Real estate is so hot right now a lot of agents are asking if they even need a website, and while we think that’s a little extreme we also think you shouldn’t have to overpay for the website you get either.

These days there are any number of real estate website systems out there to choose from and no matter what the salesman from each company will promise you that theirs is the best but very few of them have the proven record that Tour Real Estate Inc holds. We’ve been specializing in real estate websites for over a decade and we know the industry intimately because we helped build it.

Many website systems promise features, or a cheap price, only to turn out to be lackluster or to have you later find out that every new function is an added cost – this is not the case with TourRE! Our toolbox of digital features has steadily expanded over our long history without any added hidden costs. Real estate websites from Tour Real Estate provide a robust set of powerful tools to help you showcase your services and listings. Take a look at some of our standard included features and ask yourself: “Does My Website Do ALL Of This?”.

Updated Real Estate Website Template!

realtor websitesYes indeed!
We are always in a state of development and revisiting our code to improve on it. It’s part of what’s kept us moving more real estate for over a decade, and this year is no different!

As many of you may know having a website that is mobile friendly is extremely important. About 50% of all web traffic these days comes from people using a phone or other device; as such it’s crucial for your website to be ready to receive those visitors!

We’ve taken one of our older classic templates The Oaks and re-imagined it for this new format. It still features some of the unique things that you loved about the old design but it’s been remade for mobile to look even better! This template features our great search bar prominently on the main page and also includes listings from your own pool or your office right on the home page.

Take a look at this latest upgrade and get in touch if you need a website that’s ready to move!

Get More Real Estate Leads

real estate web designYou’ve got a website and it’s been online for a while; you may or may not be getting some natural traffic rolling in but where are the leads? Where are the millions of people online beating down your virtual door?

Unfortunately the days of the popular notion that if you build it they will come have long since passed. Just having a website alone is something akin to standing in your closet and shouting about how great your chocolate chip cookies are and then being disappointed when you don’t have people ringing your doorbell with money in hand. A website is a tool, like any other, it is good for specific tasks – and only if you use it properly – you wouldn’t expect to hammer many nails with a screwdriver after all.

You can’t depend on your website to do all the work, so here are some good ideas for things you can actively do to bring in more real estate leads!

Cold Calling
Gives ya shivers don’t it?! But it’s like the old axiom says: don’t be afraid to ask pretty girls for a kiss, you’ll get a lot of slaps in the face but you’ll get a few kisses too! Like any other tactic cold calling takes some strategy to be effective. Start by developing a script to work from that speaks to your potential clients needs; from there stick to a standardized calling routine to make sure it’s not a try once and quit effort.

Blog
Not just have a blog, but actually write and publish a blog regularly. By creating interesting content not only can you establish yourself as an authority in the market but you can also give your audience insight into who you are. Not to mention search engines love blogs! Fresh, keyword rich content updated on a regular basis can be a huge boon to getting more traffic on your site and more traffic equals more potential contacts. Ever struggle with stuff to post on social media? Your own blog content is PERFECT content for your fan page or other profiles – and best of all if done correctly it drives traffic to you!

Door Knocking
It can be daunting in this day and age, and much like cold calling be prepared for some difficult feedback – but you can get good response too. Getting out into the communities you work in is a great way to stand apart as so many agents are digital only these days. It really gives you a lay of the land; is a good way to get your brand in front of people you might not normally reach. Make sure you go out with some door hangers and printed materials with your photo, website, contact info prominently displayed.

Niche Marketing
Find your niche a work it. Everyone wants to be number one for “city name real estate” on Google…so aim for another target. If you can get your foot into a niche corner of the market – like 55+ buyers, or equestrian properties – it can open a whole other client base. Good ways to passively find leads from these niches is to build simple realtor lead capture websites focused on that particular theme or demographic.

Work Social Media
There could be – and have been – whole posts written on just this and the reason for that is simple: no other platform offers more bang for your marketing buck than social media. The catch? It’s a very easy way to spend a lot of time and money if you don’t know how to do it right. Now, just about any frequently updated page that caters to it’s audience is better than none at all but there are some key things to making social media work for your real estate business. Most importantly: be positive, post often, and link to websites you control any time you can.

Have questions about putting these things into practice?
Not even sure where you stand or where to start? Tour Real Estate Inc has provided the very best real estate websites for over a decade; our experts know the industry and the technology that powers it because we helped build it. We’d love the chance to talk with you about your goals and how you can reach them!

Uncan Your Real Estate Website!

When home buyers go looking for a new place online they have their choice of websites these days. You’ve got to stand out to make a difference and capture your share of this lions market; there is no easier, more affordable way to do that than with a dynamic website branded to you.

We realize not everyone can afford an elaborate custom website; that’s why we provide some of the most customizable real estate web sites online today. Unlike other set it and forget it systems that don’t offer much beyond a picture and a paragraph nearly every piece of content on our websites can be edited to make the website your very own.

Whether you already have a site that just isn’t performing or you are a new agent ready to make a name for themselves we invite you to put the experience we’ve gathered over the last decade to work for you!

You Don’t Need A Website Anymore…

move more real estate
That’s right! You heard us!
You don’t need a website anymore….
You need 5 of them!

Did we have you going? Maybe even for a minute?

Fact is the rumor mills are alive with Z flag wavers broadly proclaiming that individual real estate agents and brokers should just throw in the towel when it comes to having an online presence…but is this true?

While big box websites like Zillow, Trulia, and Realtor.com are powerhouses to fully be reckoned with – often dominating google search results even for local searches – does that honestly mean there’s no longer any reason to have your own website?

Don’t break out the kool-aid cups just yet! The answer is a resounding NO!

If anything it may be even more important now to not only have a website of your own but to also make sure that it stands out from the competition and positions you in a place to show the uniqueness of your own brand. It even makes sense to have multiple websites to increase your overall online footprint and capitalize on niche markets that the big box boys might have missed!

While the peanut gallery may say – and is right – that there are a million places where a potential client can search and find houses, that is not what your website should be all about. It never has been, and it never should have been. Your website not only serves as digital business card, lending legitimacy and credibility to your services, but also should function as a means for you to distinguish yourself from the myriad of agents in your area.

You can accomplish this by doing things like making sure to have a page about yourself, reasons why you love the area, or even a local area resources page of links. Even a templated website can serve to set you apart if it allows you to control your content – the key is using it!

are they finding you?

No one can deny that new home buyers are using technology to handle the process of finding the home they want themselves it’s never been more important for agents to show themselves to be the authorities in their industries and areas.

Claim this position by leveraging social media, using extra domains you may have to work a niche market through lead capture pages, and get out there in the community itself to keep your ear to the heartbeat of the cities you serve.
